My 100 frame contest entry

The link featuring my entry is here:

The topic was 'Magic' and the length was 100 frames and it had to be finished in a week. The contest was hosted by Jean-Denis Haas on his blog http://spungella.blogspot.com.

My idea for it was a bit of a cliche and included the whole lot: a wand, a hat and a rabbit.... Ignoring that, the piece was done as an exercise in TB Animate Pro 2 - my 2nd short piece- and it was 'finished' in about 6 days. I wish I'd moved faster so I could clean it up a bit better and maybe and some color to it. Oh well, I guess I'm still learning...

LOL(?)

Here's what I've been working on lately. I tried to show a change of emotion in a character (partly inspired by the character Clayton from 'Tarzan') and to see how easy animating a laugh would be. Well, the laugh was NOT easy.

I'll add a background and some color and possibly another shot in which to show the reason he's laughing.
As for reference for the laugh I used some of the examples in T.A.S.K by R. Williams and also a bit from a pencil test done by Milt Kahl.

The 1st post

I finally decided to start my own blog....
