This was done as a sound synch exercise. It was a bit challenging to get the right timing and the right number of in-betweens without upsetting the overall flow of the flag. Working on paper again was a good break. The soundtrack is a very short part of one of my favorite pieces of music by G. Gershwin, the "Rhapsody in blue".

Colour Studies
I went yesterday to the Natural History Museum in Dublin and here are two colour studies in oil pastels. The squirrel-like animal was just about the size of a regular squirrel,
probably some ancestor down the line; I forgot to take down the name of
it.

I should probably buy myself a decent oil pastels set as I'm using the basic 12 pieces set now....
