Joe and Jack episode

Finally one of the Joe and Jack episodes I worked on as an intern (in Affinity Tech) this summer was aired on RTE 2 last Thursday (September 13). It's nice to see the whole episode and make sense of the scenes I worked on. I've got a few good seconds of animation in there: 3:24-3:31, 5:41-5:43, 5:54-6:03 but my favorite bit is the one at 5:27 - 5:32. We had a good laugh about that in the studio. Thanks every one there (especially Mick, Joe and Graham). Looking forward to seeing the rest of the episodes we worked on.

I was watching one of Gil Rimmers' DVD on character design and I really like his sketchy render of his grayscale studies. Here's my attempt at the same rendering technique in PS. His theme was boxers at the turn of the 20th century.
